Peanut butter and Carrot biscuits

A healthy and tasty snack made with wholesome ingredients, these treats are perfect for your furry friend. Made with creamy peanut butter, crunchy carrots, and whole wheat flour, these bite-sized morsels provide a nutritious boost to your dog's diet. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (for gluten free use oat flour)
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana 
  • 1/4 cup water 

Instructions:

  • preheat the oven to 175°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper
  • in a bowl mix all the ingredients gradually adding the water to create a dough
  • when the dough is firm roll out on a floured surface to roughly 1/4 thickness and cut into shapes (shape doesn't matter too much, we recommend using cookie cutters for best results)
  • lay the biscuits out on the baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes
  • let the biscuits cool completely before giving them to the pup
